SCRIPTURE FOCUS
John 14:6 (KJV)
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
LIFE APPLICATION
The Greatest Man in History is not remembered merely because He lived. Jesus Christ changed history because He came to save us and bring us back to God.
Through prayer, we talk to God. Through the Bible, God talks to us. Therefore, Scripture gives us more than information. It gives us wisdom for living and truth for the journey.
Read books for knowledge. Read the Bible for wisdom. Knowledge can tell us what people have discovered. However, God’s Word teaches us how to live with purpose, courage, humility, and faith.
Jesus invites us into a relationship, not simply a religion. He meets us in our victories and our disappointments. Likewise, He remains near when our path feels uncertain.
The Greatest Man in History demonstrated love through action. He welcomed the overlooked, forgave sinners, comforted the hurting, and served others. Most importantly, He willingly gave His life for us and conquered death through His resurrection.
The Truth
That truth gives us reason to hope. Even when circumstances seem difficult, Christ remains our source of strength. Furthermore, His example challenges us to love others more generously and to serve without expecting recognition.
We are spiritual beings here to have a human experience. Consequently, we should exercise our spiritual muscles just as we exercise our bodies. Prayer strengthens our relationship with God. Scripture strengthens our understanding of His truth. Worship turns our hearts toward Him.
The Greatest Man in History still calls us to follow Him today. His invitation remains simple: trust Him, walk with Him, learn from Him, and let His love shape your life.
Perhaps this week is a good time to slow down and listen. Open the Bible. Spend a few quiet minutes in prayer. Thank God for His blessings. Ask Him for wisdom. Then look for opportunities to show Christ’s love to someone who needs encouragement.
The world offers many voices competing for our attention. Yet Jesus offers something different. He offers truth, grace, forgiveness, peace, and eternal life.
That is why I believe Jesus is the Greatest Man in History. He is not simply someone we remember. He is someone we can know.
Let Us Pray
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving us and for giving Your life for us. Help us seek Your wisdom through Scripture and grow closer to You through prayer. Give us strength to follow Your example, love others, and keep our spirits high. May our lives reflect Your grace each day. Amen.
