Introduction
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ — the One who gives us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of His Son. Because of His great mercy, we are no longer bound by death but are born again to eternal life. This devotion reminds us that our inheritance is secure in Christ, undefiled and unfading, reserved in heaven for all who believe.

Reflection
The apostle Peter writes with a heart full of gratitude: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3–4). Those words overflow with Easter joy. Because Jesus rose from the grave, we are not just forgiven — we are transformed. Our future inheritance is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.
Peter describes this inheritance as something kept in heaven for us, shielded by God’s power through faith. In other words, salvation is not a fragile promise. It is divine insurance — eternal and unbreakable. You could even call it “after-life insurance,” purchased in full by Christ’s blood on the cross and confirmed through His resurrection.
Jesus Himself declared, “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28). What comfort and security that brings! No earthly loss, no sin, no enemy can undo what Christ has secured for His people. This truth allows believers to walk through trials with hope that cannot be shaken.
