YOUR SPHERE OF INFLUENCE

Who is your real sphere of Influence? “The most influential people in my life will never show up on a Google search.”

Living in the Spirit

We all recognize names like Martin Luther, Mother Teresa, Billy Graham, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Each of these individuals had a significant sphere of influence, shaping generations as renowned theologians and faith leaders.

But take a moment—who has personally impacted your walk with Christ? Think of the pastors, parents, teachers, and everyday believers whose lives have quietly, consistently testified to the love of Jesus. These are Christ’s “foot soldiers.” Their faithfulness formed your foundation within their own spheres of influence.

You are a beneficiary of their sphere of influence.

Here’s the beauty of Christianity: you have a sphere of influence too!

Before ascending to heaven, Jesus gave a mission:
“You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 (NIV)

He didn’t command us to become theologians. He called us to be witnesses—to live and speak in a way that reflects Him.

Your witness shines through your actions, words, and responses. Paul describes what this witness looks like:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
Galatians 5:22–23 (NIV)

Let those fruits guide how you treat others today within your sphere.

As you enter this new year, remember: your influence may never make headlines, but it may help someone find heaven.

Good morning—and may your sphere of influence grow Spirituously strong in the New Year!

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” —Proverbs 23:7

Let Us Pray

Lord, thank You for the faithful people who shaped my walk with You. Help me be that same witness for someone else today. Let the fruit of Your Spirit grow in me and flow through me in my sphere of influence. Amen.
