Nice Guys Do Not Finish Last – Godly Victory

Leo Durocher, the fiery manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, famously said, “Nice guys finish last.” The implication was clear: to win, you must bend rules or harden your heart. Yet Paul writes in 2 Timothy 2:5, “An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” God’s Word flips Durocher’s logic. According to Scripture, Nice Guys Do Not Finish Last—they are crowned with eternal victory.

Christian Integrity and Faithfulness

 Christian integrity reflects faithfulness. The Bible shows how honesty, keeping commitments, and faithfulness reveal a true Christian life. It  is faith in action.  Christian integrity is a reflection of faithfulness. The closer we draw to Jesus, the more faithfully we will live, speak, and act. Integrity reveals to the world that we belong to Christ.
