Scriptural Foundations For Contentment
Philippians 4:12 – “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation…”
The Apostle Paul reminds us that genuine contentment springs from trusting God’s provision and sovereignty—not from having more.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 – “Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.”

True contentment comes when we surrender our lives to Christ and gain purpose beyond this world. Day by day, we die to ourselves to live for the Lord—surrendering what we cannot keep to gain what we cannot lose. The greatest treasure we can bring to heaven is not possessions, but people—those we have shared Christ with who have come to faith in Him.

This peace forms the foundation of all contentment—made possible through the Cross.
