FOMO: FEAR OF MISSING OUT

“And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19

Our tendency to focus on the glitter of the world and instant gratification of social needs, overwhelms our trust in the promises of Jesus.

Carefully think through the prophecy of the 23rd Psalm and transpose into present vernacular.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;

you anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life,

and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD

forever.”

Psalms 23

23 Psalms internalized = peace!

The only FOMO we should experience is that of missing out on Jesus!

Good morning and enjoy the peace of Jesus ( He gave us peace as a gift )

    One of my favorites!!! The 23rd Psalm provides us with all the assurances that Christ promised and delivers every day.

    It has helped me through many trials and tribulations. My maternal Grandfather recited it every day of his life. His surgeon reported that he even recited it while under anesthesia coming out of surgery. Bill

    He gives us everything we need every day of our lives. What a comfort that is to me.
