Worship and bow down before the Lord today. Honor your Maker and prepare your heart for His throne.

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker.”
Psalm 95:6 (ESV)
Worship and bow down—this is the call on every believer’s life.
Honor Our Creator
We in America are richly blessed. Life often feels like “Super Bowl Saturday”—filled with comfort, distraction, and entertainment. But we must pause. We need to “smell the roses” and realign our focus. Psalm 95:6 brings life back into proper perspective. We are not the center. God is. We are reminded to: * Worship our Creator * Bow before the King * Kneel before the throne These actions are not symbolic—they reflect the posture of our hearts.
Prepare to Meet the Lord
Someday, every person will stand—better yet, kneel—before God’s holy throne. Oh what a day that will be! How will we present ourselves? Will we appear proud and self-satisfied, or humble and repentant? In light of His holiness, how could we do anything but fall prostrate? We must remember Proverbs 23:7: “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” What we ponder, we become. When we think of God as holy, we begin to live holy. When we humble ourselves, He lifts us up (James 4:10). Start today in surrender. See yourself bowed down, unworthy but deeply loved, before the throne of your Maker.
Let Us Pray
Lord, I kneel before You in reverence and awe. You alone are worthy of my praise. Keep my heart humble and focused on You. Amen.
