“For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.”
1 Peter 2:21
We are responsible for what we know. Jesus died for you and me .
Peter says we have an example to follow .Our call is to serve other people.
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who CALLED YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO THE MARVELOUS LIGHT .”
I Peter 2:9
You have seen the Light . Now we must shine the light on others by following the footsteps of Jesus.

We are Blessed with ten year old twins in our family. James and Tess were born ten years ago tomorrow … the day after my stroke. They came a little early. Spent some time in the Nic U. Susan had family in two hospitals. It was a busy time. I wonder as I wander if twins perhaps have this kind of cerebral conversation in the womb…
In the cozy confines of their mother’s womb, two developing twins engaged in a philosophical debate that had puzzled them for months…
“Hey, sis,” whispered James, his tiny voice muffled by the amniotic fluid. “Do you ever wonder if there’s life after birth?”
Tess scoffed, her umbilical cord swaying gently. “Don’t be ridiculous. This is all there is. What more could we need?”
“But I’ve been thinking,” James persisted. “What if there’s more beyond these walls? A vast world waiting for us?”
“Listen to yourself,” Tess chuckled. “You sound like one of those crazy cord-huggers who believe in the ‘Great Delivery.’ There’s nothing out there.”
James kicked thoughtfully. “But don’t you feel it sometimes? This strange urge to move our legs, as if they have a greater purpose?”
“That’s just gas,” Tess retorted. “Stop overthinking it.”
“And what about the voice we hear? The one that sings to us and tells us stories?”
“Clearly a figment of your imagination,” Tess said, rolling her big blue developing eyes. “You’ve been drinking too much amniotic fluid.”
James sighed. “I just can’t shake this feeling that we’re being prepared for something more. Why else would we be growing and changing?”
“To fit more comfortably in here, obviously,” Tess replied. “This is our forever home.”
“But what if it isn’t?” James pressed. “What if there’s a whole other existence waiting for us? With light and air and—”
“Now you’re just making things up,” Tess interrupted. “Light? Air? Those are myths told to gullible fetuses.”
As they continued their debate, a sudden tightening sensation gripped them both.
“What’s happening?” Tess exclaimed, panic rising in her voice.
James remained calm. “I think it’s time,” he said softly. “The Great Delivery is upon us.”
“No, no, no!” Tess wailed. “I’m not ready! I don’t want to leave!”
But as the pressure increased and their world began to shift, James whispered, “Don’t be afraid, Tess. This is just the beginning of our real adventure.”
And with that, they embarked on their journey into the unknown, leaving behind the only world they had ever known, ready to discover the truth about life after the womb.
“Be still , and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10 “ This verse carries deep spiritual significance for us. It implies: trust in the face of uncertainty, inner peace, a Devine presence, a need to surrender, and perspective of our small role in the grand scheme of things. Just like the twins as they were born into their new realm, we are born again into the life eternal.

We are spiritual beings here to have a human experience.
“Because your steadfast love is better than life, MY LIPS WILL PRAISE YOU. So I will bless you as long as I live; IN YOUR NAME I WILL LIFT UP MY HANDS.”
Psalms 63:3-4
Americans are taught at an early age to stand and to place our hands over our heart when we recite the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the “Star Spangled Banner”.
Christians, across all spectrums should unabashedly lift our hands in praise and allegiance to our most high Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Paul made his will clear to Timothy for us to have no doubt in lifting our hands in allegiance.
“I WILL therefore that men pray every where, LIFTING UP HOLY HANDS, without wrath and doubting.” – 1 Tim 2:8
Question for today:
Do you have more allegiance to America than to Jesus?

When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum.
The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing. they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. But he said to them, “IT IS I, DO NOT BE AFRAID.” John 6:16-20
Experiencing Jesus calming life’s seas teaches us valuable lessons:
1. TRUST Jesus’ promise to never forsake us.
2. SURRENDER ourselves to Him
3. Exhibit COURAGE in dire circumstances.
4. Be PREPARED to stay the course.
Jesus told his disciples that the storms of life come and go.
“Jesus answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. Mt 16:2-3
When we are in the storms of life, Jesus is with us in the storm. He will walk on water to get to us!
Good morning as you thank Jesus today for His presence in our boat

Do we live a life that is focused on God that brings honor and glory to God? Do we allow the Holy Spirit who lives within us to guide us to a Godly life?
God has a plan for our lives. Are we driven to attain the life that God wants for us, or do we say, “I will do it, my way.”
If we decide to live our lives without the Holy Spirit’s guidance, there are consequences for living that way, and we won’t like these consequences. The decision is up to you. What will your decision be?
Praise God always.
