James gave us this advice in James 1:19-22
• Be quick to listen
• Be slow to speak
• Be slow to anger
• Get rid of all filthiness
• Be Doers of the word and Not hearers only
• Bridle your tongue; an unbridled tongue deceives your heart, and renders your testimony useless
St. Francis of Assisi gave us parents this “pearl of wisdom “;
Preach the Gospel at all times and if necessary, use words.
