The joy of salvation lost to sin can be restored. See how David’s prayer in Psalm 51 reveals God’s power to renew a hardened heart and bring you home.God made us whole people. He gave us a body, a mind, and a spirit. He also gave us the freedom to choose, so each of us is a steward of all three. Most of us work hard on the first two. We exercise, we watch what we eat, and we keep learning. However, the spirit is often the part we neglect. Over the past several decades, our nation has done much the same. Hearts have grown hard, and many have drifted away from the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit. That drift is not new. King David walked the same road long ago. Thankfully, David also shows us the way back.
