“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”1 John 1:8-9 Time does not heal all wounds. That saying may sound comforting, but Scripture offers something far more powerful: confession. When we bring our sin before God with sincere repentance, He doesn’t delay. He forgives, cleanses and restores.
