The Spirit Is for All
At Pentecost, the Apostle Peter stood before the crowd and quoted the prophet Joel. He boldly declared that the “last days” had begun—and with them, God’s promise to pour out His Spirit on all flesh. This was a radical moment in church history. God’s voice would now be heard through ordinary people, not just prophets or priests.
This outpouring of prophecy, visions and dreams includes everyone: sons and daughters, young and old. Today, many organized churches still fall into the trap of limitation. Young believers may be dismissed as inexperienced. Women are sometimes denied roles of leadership. And older adults often feel overlooked or sidelined. Yet Acts 2:17 says otherwise. God honors all people with the gift of His Spirit. No one is too young, too old, or unqualified to be used by Him.
God Still Speaks
God is still speaking through dreams, visions, and prophetic words. A teenager might receive a vision that inspires a church. A grandmother might share a dream that confirms God’s plan. A woman might boldly speak a word that brings healing. These are not just stories from ancient days. They are happening now.
Are we listening?
Today, open your heart. Ask God to help you discern His voice. Whether He chooses to speak to you directly or through someone else, stay alert. God’s Spirit is moving. The Church must make room for every generation and every voice.

Lord, thank You for pouring out Your Spirit on all people. Help me to listen, speak, and dream in step with You. Use me for Your glory. Amen.
