may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.”
Ps 103
The Psalmist says “Praise the Lord” so that we will never forget the good things He has done for us. (When we are praising we cannot be criticizing or whining.)
King David listed the good things in his life the Lord had done:
• Forgives his sins (David had many)
• Heals his illnesses
• Promises eternity
• Loves him
• Shows him mercy
• Filled his life with good things
Good morning as you make your list of God’s goodness to you (you might need more paper)

Life often feels like a journey toward a distant shore, much like crossing the Jordan River in Darin & Brooke Aldridge’s song “Jordan” which was sent to me recently by my friend, Jim F. in Pinehurst, N.C. The song reminds us of the ultimate destination—eternity with Christ—and asks the vital question: Are you ready?
The Bible calls us to readiness. In Luke 12:35-36, Jesus says, “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet.” Readiness here means living a life of active faith, prepared for Christ’s return at any moment.
Readiness also involves being grounded in the gospel. 1 Peter 3:15 instructs, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have….” This preparation is not just intellectual but spiritual—a heart fully surrendered to Christ and a life reflecting His love.
Dwight L. Moody once said, “The world does not need great men, but true and honest men whom God can use.” Readiness is about authenticity—living in truth and allowing God to work through us.
Finally, readiness means peace in the face of uncertainty. As Ephesians 6:15 reminds us, we must have our feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace. This peace anchors us amidst life’s storms and equips us to share hope with others.
As you listen to “Jordan,” reflect on its message of crossing into eternity. Are you living in readiness—prepared to meet your Savior? Take time today to align your heart with God’s purposes, for readiness is not just about the future but about faithfully walking with Him now.

150,000 people die globally EVERY DAY. That is 55,000,000 EVERY YEAR. Since Christians account for only about 30% of the world’s population, that means that 70% of those that die WILL BE SEPARATED FROM GOD FOR ALL ETERNITY(105,000 EVERY DAY and 38,500,00 EVERY YEAR.)
I have been blessed to travel in all 50 states and in 52 different countries, including Bible tours to Egypt, to Jordan twice, and to Israel five times. I have seen the practice of all the major religions and how they affect people. It breaks my heart that 70% of those that die will immediately go to hell and will someday be thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE. (Revelation 20:14-15).
The Bible makes it very clear that accepting Jesus as our LORD AND SAVIOR (John 14:6) is the ONLY way to go to heaven and spend ETERNITY WITH GOD.
A high precent of the people we encounter every week will not be going to heaven. What are we doing to share Jesus with them?
Praise God always.

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” Luke 16:10
Plane Geometry in the 10th grade in 1958-59 taught me a life gym that I have applied over the past 65 plus years. “The whole = the sum of its parts .”
Life is composed of a litany of small items.
Jesus called us to do the small things ; Jesus does the “big things” when He died for our sins.
Jesus called us to do little things that cost very little money but are expensive. • Share food with the hungry • Pass extra clothes to the needy • Visit a sick person • Extend a welcoming hand to a person you don’t know • Engage in prison ministry
These things cost virtually no money but are expensive because it takes OUR TIME! Most people will write a $100 check rather than give a hour of service to a random person.
Oh, the brief list of “small things” to be faithful to came from Jesus himself in Mt 25:31-38.
Jesus said if you want to sit at my right hand in the kingdom, do these things and when you have done these things unto the needy, you HAVE DONE THEM UNTO ME!
Good morning as you think about how faithful have you been with the little things.

Lord Jesus, I am your witness. I long to be like you.
I receive your righteousness and release my sinfulness. I receive your wholeness and release my brokenness. I receive your fullness and release my emptiness. I receive your peace and release my anxiety. I receive your joy and release my despair. I receive your healing and release my sickness. I receive your suffering love and release my ephemeral selfishness.
Come, Holy Spirit, transform my heart, mind, soul, and strength so that my consecration becomes your demonstration;
that our lives become your sanctuary.
For the glory of God our Father, amen.

“He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
Ps.103:9-12
Get your arms around our Great God!
• God does not always accuse nor harbor anger at us.
• God does not punish us as we deserve for our sins.
• God loves us more than we can love him.
• God will cast our sins away.
