“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Luke 2:14
Peace and goodwill to men begins with peace with God.
Paul established in Rom 5:1 the precedence;
“Therefore, since we have been JUSTIFIED BY FAITH , we have PEACE WITH GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
When we have established peace with God, we can then find peace with man.
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:7
And Jesus gave us the greatest ” going away” gift of all;
“PEACE I leave with you; MY peace I give to you. ” John 14:27
Our Hevenly Father leaves us with peace , but most importantly He gives us peace as our love gift from him !
Good morning as we pass our love gift from Jesus to others by proclaiming,
“Peace on earth and goodwill to all men”!
