Paul, the life coach of the New Testament, fought the battle of the
“flesh vs. the spirit” even after he experienced a dramatic conversion to become the leader of the early Church.
“For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.”
Rom 7:15
Paul described the battle this way:
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. “
