Worship wherever you are—Jesus said it’s not about a temple but about spirit and truth.

Praise God in Spirit and Truth
In John 4, Jesus spoke to a Samaritan woman about the future of worship. He dismantled the old thinking that praising God had to happen at a certain place, like a mountain or a temple.
“The hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.”
—John 4:21, 23 (ESV)
Jesus was the perfect storyteller. Like a seasoned journalist, He addressed every vital question:
WHO: “I who speak to you am he.” —John 4:26
WHAT: “True worshipers will worship the Father.” —John 4:23
WHEN: “The hour is coming, and is now here.” —John 4:23
WHERE: Not on this mountain or in Jerusalem—worship wherever you are!
Modern church culture sometimes narrows “worship” to a scheduled event in a designated building. But Jesus redefined it. He said worship isn’t limited by location or time. It happens wherever a heart connects to God in spirit and truth.
So today, whether you’re in your car, your kitchen, or in a quiet moment before work, know this: the Father seeks you to praise Him—right where you are.
