Introduction
Explore how winners never quit through perseverance. Discover joy, purpose, and hope in facing life’s challenges. Life gives us many chances to quit. Fatigue, frustration, and discouragement never seem far away. But Scripture calls us to a different path—the path of perseverance through doing good.
When Paul writes, “Let us not grow weary,” he is reminding us that the Christian life is a long obedience
in the same direction. We are invited not only to endure, but to endure with joy, purpose, and hope.

Quotation
A.W. Tozer once wrote, “God never uses anyone greatly until He tests them deeply.”
This reminder sets the tone for today’s encouragement—faith that endures is faith refined.
Reflection
In relationships and daily interactions, psychologists often describe people as playing one of
three roles: the persecutor, the rescuer, or the victim. Paul’s exhortation in Galatians 6:9
calls us into the role of the rescuer—the one who shows compassion, lifts others, and keeps doing good
even when it would be easier to withdraw.
Weariness is real. The enemy of our soul loves to whisper, “It doesn’t matter… no one notices… stop trying.”
But Scripture declares the opposite: “In due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Gal 6:9)
Every act of kindness, every quiet moment of obedience, every unseen sacrifice lays seeds in the soil of eternity.
Jesus affirmed this when He said, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works
and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matt 5:16). Doing good isn’t about impressing others—it’s about revealing the heart of God.
The writer of Hebrews adds, “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices
are pleasing to God.” (Heb 13:16). Doing good is not simply a duty; it is worship. A sacrifice. A fragrant offering rising before the throne.
So today, be a rescuer. Shine your light. Share generously. Serve faithfully. Someone’s faith may be strengthened because you didn’t quit.
Life Application
- Identify one person today who needs encouragement—and give it.
- Ask God to renew your strength where discouragement has crept in.
- Pray for opportunities to “shine your light” in small but meaningful ways.
- End your day by thanking God for the good He allowed you to do.
Closing Prayer
Lord, strengthen my heart today. Help me not to grow weary in doing good.
Fill me with Your Spirit so I may shine Your light, comfort the hurting, serve with joy,
and persevere with hope. May every good work bring glory to Your name. Amen.
